I think that petite girls are the luckiest, because they can get away with almost anything.
Wearing heels will of course make you look taller. But I still think that petite girls look cute in ballet pumps. Be proud of being a shortie and make it work for you!
Mini-skirts are good for short girls; as are mid-thigh lengths. Generally speaking, no longer than an inch above the knee works well. Petite girls CAN wear maxi skirts that touch the floor. But mid-calf or below the knee is better suited to the tall girlies.
The same goes for trousers, shorts and jeans - go micro, mini, above the knee or mid-thigh in shorts. If you have slim legs, drainpipe or cigarette (slim, straight leg) trousers will look good, as they elongate the leg. If you are a pear-shape, a bootcut or kickflare will balance you out. You could also pull off wide-leg trousers as long as you wear a fitted top.
Overall, be proud of being short and work the ‘cute’ angle! Who wants to be average?
Thanks for the advice! :)
